Will your ceremony & reception be HELD outdoors?

On the Old Mill Guest House property, our ceremony will be held in the tree grove behind the event area, our cocktail hour will be held in the open-air courtyard, and our reception will be held beneath the 5,000 sf. timber pavilion. Please dress accordingly.

In the event of inclement weather, our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be held beneath the timber pavilion. 

What's the October Weather like in Wallkill, NY?

In October, the average temperature fluctuates between a high of 65º and a low of 45º. Over the past few years however, temperatures have been unseasonably warm, sometimes reaching a high of 80º during the day. Please check the weather, and dress accordingly.

In the event of unseasonably-cold temperatures, heaters and temporary walls will be added to the event pavilion.

Do you have a wedding Guest dress code?

Our wedding guest dress code is “Semi-Formal, Cocktail.”

This dress code is a balance between elegant and comfortable—fancy and paired-back. 
We’d love for our guests to look their best, while feeling comfy and free to cut a rug on the dance floor.

In the event of inclement or unseasonably-cold weather, guests may also elect to wear an over coat, or a shall / wrap.
Please check the weather and dress accordingly.

What is your bridal party wearing?

Our bridesmaids will be wearing mixed-and-matched, floor-length and midi-length dresses in the colors below.

Our groomsmen will be wearing formal, dark wool suits and ties in the colors below.

Have you reserved a block of Hotel rooms?

We have reserved a block of rooms at The Hampton Inn & Suites Newburgh Stewart Airport. It will be our primary wedding-weekend accommodation.

Will you be providing transportation to and from your wedding venue?

Shuttle busses will be provided from the Hampton Inn & Suites in Newburgh, NY for transportation to and from our venue on wedding day.
